Watch ‘Kung Fury’, and Get Your 1980’s Fix Now!

Posted in The Screening Room by - May 29, 2015

Last year a trailer dropped for Kung Fury a present day iteration of the over the top 1980’s action films of yesteryear, and now you can view the entire thing for free on YouTube.

It almost seems like the film adaptation of the amazing Far Cry 3 expansion, Blood Dragon that also emphasized the absolute zaniness of the 1980’s action movies and how they were complete style over substance. While I have yet to get a chance to view the film, I will be doing a piece on it once I view it in its entirety. Anyways, we hope this is a good start to your weekends and satisfies your inner action hero.

Kung Fury was written, directed by, and stars David Sandberg, was crowdfunded through Kickstarter (it raised over $600,000) and will screen at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
