True Crime Month continues with a look at Justin Kurzel’s first cinematic foray that landed him the job directing Assassin’s CreedSnowtown. The film follows Jamie as he is drawn into the charismatic orbit of John Bunting, a homophobic vigilante looking to dole out justice to Australia’s pedophiles and homosexuals. It’s an emotional rollercoaster ride that doesn’t let up and is hard to watch at times.
