Chris and Sean begin Video Game Movie Month with a look at Doom, featuring the highest paid actor in Hollywood, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. It follows The Rock and his crew of space marines as they attempt to quell a demonic invasion in the science base on Mars. It’s a generic homage to a better film with aliens and marines but nonetheless a big dumb time.

As always, you can follow Chris Stachiw on Twitter at @KultureStach, Sean Liang at @Seannifer and Kulture Shocked at @KultureShocked. The new intro and outro music is Wovoka’s “Lament”, and big thanks to them for allowing us to use their song. You can also subscribe to the Kulturecast on iTunes here. Also, don’t forget to check out our official Facebook page for news, upcoming reviews, contests, and new content along with our Patreon page.
