A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)

Chris and Sean kick-off the third year of Horrortober with a look at a wholly unnecessary remake of a truly classic horror film, A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010). The film stars Jackie Earle Haley on the scarred serial killer, Freddy Krueger, as he torments, maims, and murders the teenagers of Elm Street. It’s a remake that does little to build upon the original and in doing so does little to stand on its own. We also talk our picks for this week’s Stream Police.

As always, you can follow Chris Stachiw on Twitter at @KultureStach, Sean Liang at @Seannifer and Kulture Shocked at @KultureShocked. The new intro and outro music is Wovoka’s “Lament”, and big thanks to them for allowing us to use their song. You can also subscribe to the Kulturecast on iTunes here. Also, don’t forget to check out our official Facebook page for news, upcoming reviews, contests, and new content along with our Patreon page.
