Ah westerns, the now practically defunct genre that was once one of the most profitable in cinema. While there have been recent fantastic entries into the genre, such as Six Reasons WhySlow West, and The Proposition, the genre has become somewhat of an afterthought in the current super-hero, quick-cut driven Hollywood of today. However, we love westerns, and our resident western fanatic and Senior Editor John Lein has curated a list of classics, new takes, and obscurities to give us our salute to westerns!
