A Chat with Leo Oliva: Actor, Writer, and Producer of ‘The Shift’

Posted in The Screening Room by - April 11, 2015

We got to sit down and talk with Leo Oliva few days ago about his film, The Shift. It’s truly an inspiring story for aspiring film makers. The Shift won multiple awards at film festivals for it’s portrayal of the crew on hospital’s night shift as they deal with the question of whether or not it’s acceptable to let terminally ill patients, who are in constant pain, die on their own terms. The film was officially released to the public in February, and is worth checking out if you are a fan of hospital dramas that elevate the subject matter from simple procedural to an actual look at the daily inner struggle of nurses.
