‘Ant-Man’ Trailer Released: Tonally Mixed In A Good Way

Posted in The Screening Room by - January 07, 2015

The trailer for Ant-Man has finally been released without any shenanigans this time, much to my surprise as I was enjoying Marvel having fun with the marketing for the film. It looks mixed tonally similar to Guardians of the Galaxy so I’m interested to see how to it turns out. We get our first look at Michael Douglas as Hank Pym as well as Corey Stoll and Evangeline Lilly, along with Paul Rudd riding on the back of an ant. It’s tonally all of the place but there does seem to be an underlying aspect of humor to the film which I hope will be its biggest success.
