Pokémon: The First Movie

Chris and Sean are joined by James D’Alessandro as they continue Video Game Movie Month with a look at Pokemon: The First Movie. The film focuses on Ash Ketchum as he attempts to become the greatest trainer in the world and discover the secret behind Mewtwo, a cloned super Pokemon. Gotcha catch’em all!

As always, you can follow Chris Stachiw on Twitter at @KultureStach, Sean Liang at @Seannifer and Kulture Shocked at @KultureShocked. The new intro and outro music is Wovoka’s “Lament”, and big thanks to them for allowing us to use their song. You can also subscribe to the Kulturecast on iTunes here. Also, don’t forget to check out our official Facebook page for news, upcoming reviews, contests, and new content along with our Patreon page.

Chris Stachiw is the Editor-in-Chief and co-host of the Kulturecast. He’s a native Californian with a penchant for sarcasm and a taste for the cinematic bizarre. You’ll often find him wandering the wasteland of Nebraska searching for the meaning of life and possibly another rare Pokemon.
