The Big Short

Posted in Kulturecast by - February 15, 2016

Chris and Sean, joined by screenwriter Tim Burns, continue Oscar Month with our fourth Best Picture nominee: The Big Short. Directed by Adam McKay, the film stars an ensemble cast of actors that take a look at what caused the recession in 2008. It’s McKay’s first dramatic film but doesn’t shy away from comedy as well. It’s nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, and Christian Bale for Supporting Actor.

As always, you can follow Chris Stachiw on Twitter at @KultureStach, Sean Liang at @Seannifer and Kulture Shocked at @KultureShocked. The new intro and outro music is Wovoka’s “Lament”, and big thanks to them for allowing us to use their song. You can also subscribe to the Kulturecast on iTunes here. Also, don’t forget to check out our official Facebook page for news, upcoming reviews, contests, and new content.
