Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?

Posted in Kulturecast by - August 04, 2015

It’s our first Kulturecast of Page to Screen month, where we look at films that are based off of books. We open this month with the Coen Brothers take on Homer’s Odyssey, O Brother, Where Art Thou?. We are joined by guest co-hosts writer Russ Linton and Leif Tilden, who we previously spoke to about his time as Donatello in the first two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles films. Along with our guest co-hosts, we talk with Michael Badalucco (Baby Face Nelson), Frank Collison (Wash Hogwallop), and Wayne Duvall (Homer Stokes) about their time on the film.

As always, you can follow Chris Stachiw on Twitter at @HeelStach, John Lein at @JohnLein1, Russ Linton at @russ_linton, Leif Tilden at @leifbag and Kulture Shocked at @KultureShocked. Make sure to vote for Russ’s book Crimson Son for the Best Self Published Book of 2015 here. You can also subscribe to the Kulturecast on iTunes here. Also, don’t forget to check out our official Facebook page for news, upcoming reviews, contests, and new content.

Chris Stachiw is the Editor-in-Chief and co-host of the Kulturecast. He’s a native Californian with a penchant for sarcasm and a taste for the cinematic bizarre. You’ll often find him wandering the wasteland of Nebraska searching for the meaning of life and possibly another rare Pokemon.
