We end Horrortober and celebrate Halloween with Hausu, a film that literally defies logic and convention. The film follows seven friends as they visit one of the friend’s aunts for a leisurely summer getaway. The vacation turns into a nightmare as killer cats, a possessed house, and a hungry piano start picking off the friends one by one. It’s a straightforward plot but with an execution that is at times hilarious, surreal, and bizarre.
