Denise Gossett is one of the most recognizable names in the horror due to her creation of the 15 year running Shriekfest. It is L.A.’s premiere horror movie festival running from October 1-4 featuring over ten feature films, and a large amount short films as well. It has been voted “LA’s Most Successful & Entertaining Horror Film Festival” by L.A. Weekly, and Denise was recently voted 5th out of 13 most influential women in horror.

We had the opportunity to speak with Denise about Shriekfest along with her upcoming role in the Hank William biopic I Saw The Light. You can check out more about Shriekfest here and follow the festival on Twitter as well
