Wes Craven’s New Nightmare

Posted in Kulturecast by - October 26, 2015

We near the end of Horrortober with the latest Kulturecast to pay tribute to horror legend Wes Craven with his final entry into the story of Freddy Krueger: Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. The film features Heather Langenkamp playing a herself as she is coerced, by director Wes Craven and a demonic entity that has taken the form of Freddy, to play Nancy Thompson one more time. It’s a meta-take on the classic franchise, and an interesting entry as well. We also speak with Matt Winston, son of special effects maven Stan Winston, who plays Chuck in the film.
